South African Wine Club - a few words from Tim

The first The Little Things Wine Club kicked off to a rousing start on a dark evening on the 16th November with local wine expert Tim hosting an evening wine safari themed around the wines of South Africa.

It may have been chilly outside but the warm atmosphere and banter radiated out and amplified throughout the evening as new friendships were formed around an appreciation of wine.

A total of eight wines from a mix of vintage traditional method sparkling wines to Burgundian styled Chardonnay and Bordeaux styled aged Merlot showcased the diversity that this amazing country.

Just some of the feedback from the evening was " Marvelous evening, very informative, good natured and interesting", "Fantastic evening....learnt a lot!", "Thanks for a great evening. Thoroughly enjoyable!"

The other overwhelming theme that came through was that many were keen to know when the next event was happening and were really interested in what the next event theme would be.

To that effect we are planning our next event on Saturday 2nd February... The theme is Wines of Argentina!

So with the crisp bite of winter nipping at your toes why not throw caution to the wind for an evening of tango music, empanadas and amazing wines from the main Argentinian wines regions.
